What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage entries work similarly. They can remember a preference, keep a page working, or help us understand which notes operators actually finish. They are not a substitute for a teaching relationship and they do not enrol you in Inbox Signal Lab.
Types we use
Essential. Required to remember your cookie choice and to load header, footer, and form behaviour. Without them the site still mostly renders, but the banner would reappear and some scripts would fail more often.
Analytics (optional). Used only if you Accept. They help the desk see which journal notes and syllabus pages are read, so we do not keep writing into a void. They are not used for cross-site advertising.

How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change later, clear cookies and local storage for systemagentbase.digital and reload; the banner will return. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use a private window. Blocking all cookies may hide the consent memory and cause the banner to repeat.
Third-party cookies
Public images may load from Unsplash or Pexels. Those hosts may receive your IP address and set their own cookies. Google Fonts may do likewise. We do not control their storage. Read their notices if that transfer matters to you. We do not load advertising networks.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics leaves the catalogue, journal, enquiry form, and legal pages fully usable. Disabling all cookies and storage can make the banner persistent and may interrupt scripted header injection if the browser is unusually locked down. The content files themselves remain reachable.
